After having completed my diploma degree in Computer Science, I work as a scientific staff member at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) at Prof. Hartenstein's Decentralized Systems and Network Services research group at the Institute of Telematics. During my studies, I focussed on telematics as well as on cryptography and security. I wrote my student research thesis at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA, supported by the interACT exchange program.
My research focusses on security and anonymity in peer-to-peer networks such as the Bitcoin network.
