Project Group:Research Project
Funding:BSI
Goal of the project KAI (Communication by Autonomic Infrastructure), which is founded by the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), is to develop an Internet-based peer-to-peer network that enables organizations or other closed groups of users to communicate without support of dedicated servers or special infrastructure. The user terminals should discover each other regardless where or how they are connected to the Internet. Once connected, the network should provide integrity, confidentiality, and availability for user communication.

The KAI team at the Institute of Telematics comprises Prof. Martina Zitterbart, Prof. Hannes Hartenstein, Michael Conrad, Jochen Dinger, Sören Finster, Konrad Jünemann and Oliver Waldhorst.

See the annual reports and publications for further information on the project results or contuct us.
