The contents of the packages are more or less self-explaining, since each class file is documented using apidoc annotations. Of course, a basic expertise with respect to the NS-3 simulator is required. A more detailed documentation that does not assume any experience in NS-3 is currently under development and will be published on this webpage once it is completed.
